Wake

For Monica Marie "Moki" Honz (1956 - 2008). A few short notes of explanation, though there's much more I could say. After parting ways in 1992, I checked in every three or four years via Lexis Nexis to see how she was doing. I wished her only well. She'd inherited some money, made a downpayment on a nice little house, appeared to have a steady job. This last time it came back "deceased" (perhaps not coincidentally at the darkest hour of the financial collapse). She had an unhealthy relationship with privacy. There was no obituary. When Quakers reach out to someone, they say they will "hold them in the light." Moki hated the cold. This is a rough version, but my best effort at this time. I'm about to take a road trip, and I'm not going to be lying on the side of any road thinking, "Damn. I should have uploaded that."
