Pam asked for some excuses and boy do I have some doozies! Like I have already told her, I got sick on Sunday evening and have been for over four days. I’ve been late on my prompts, clothes didn’t get washed, food didn’t get cooked-and now, it’s time for one final excuse.
The best excuse for being excused is the fact that all excuses are good for those best filled in the “excuse me” category of “I’ll get it done tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday, or perhaps next year when the sun shines more spectacularly on a full moon, while raining cats and dogs and the mail gets sent via cool air waves invisibly while UFO’s fly over the sky, while cows jump over the moon, as the Annie sings, “The sun will come out tomorrow” and of course, the Sun Also Sets upon the western sea front…
But, I do digress….
Whew, now that’s my excuses, or should I say ramblings?
You be the judge, I don’t care. Meanwhile, I’ll be in my easy chair sipping lemonade and making more excuses.
