Dog lovers from all parts of the world expressed their (to put it mildly) frustration with me for last week’s cat prompt. I did consider at the time, combining dogs and cats, but wished to avoid dog and cat fights. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.
Okay fine. I’m lazy and this way I didn’t have to ponder about this week’s post.
Herein, heretofore and henceforth is my atonement. So, don’t you go and sic your dogs on me.
WARNING: If you guys don’t give me prompts you want to see, I may delve into the world of insects. Better yet, Ms. Lee P., snakes.
Keep in mind, this is a monitored group and there are only a couple of rules, which are:
Make sure you put this (WWE, 3/20/13,Dogs) in your title.
Be sure to tag it with WWE, Gather Writing Essentials, Dogs. Post to Gather Writing Essential.
I ask that you make your submission(s) by next Tuesday afternoon.
There is a limit of three submissions from each member per day. If you’re extremely prolific, spread out your work and post only three submissions per day.
Put this challenge statement at the beginning or end of your submission so readers will know what you’re supposed to do and won’t think you’re crazy.
Challenge: Post anything you like involving dogs (of any type). You could go so far as to write about the dog days of August
I absolutely love the responses we received for last week's challenge. Please check them out. Also, please let me know if I missed anyone's post and I'll get it linked for next week.
