the hard candy shell of enlightenment

is such a tough nut to crack

but when you savor the difficult slowly

it melts in your mind with its facts

 

these gumballs of knowledge dissolve

rushing with heightened mentality

new puzzle pieces found

with a mind blowing breeze of reality

 

lightening sensations cascade

neurons' synaptic folds

implicated relations connect

sweeping realizations flow

 

tumblers click to their places

an unnoticed fog disappears

the overall picture goes crystal

and the brain shifts into new gears

 

the world is now quite different

more gritty and glorious to behold

a little burst of enlightenment

will change your very soul
