The Case of the Wild Ass
There’s a town in Arizona, on Route 66, were saloons abound; there's mining and there’s horse thieving and gun fights in the streets. Wild asses run the place.
If you don't give a wild ass a Carrot, you’ll pay because, these asses take revenge very seriously.
For withholding treats for these animals people have been put in old fashioned stockades. The donkeys get people to do their bidding for them through mind control.
Once a person comes into the town of Wild Ass Creek(there is no creek, the place is a desert) he is mesmerized by the four-legged long eared critters. Each person is provided with a five pound bag of carrots. Once approached by an ass they must relinquish one of their carrots. Once the carrots are gone the individual is escorted out of town.
You can gamble to win more carrots but if you lose, it's time to get out of Dodge.
