Everyone knows that ghosts are nothing but Science Fiction. Well, that’s what they want you to think. I happen to know that they exist.

How do you ask?

This is my story.

Albert, yes, his name is Albert lives in my attic. One day while rooting through my closet to get my tree, he came out and shouted boo scaring me to pieces. He laughed for many minutes before I realized that he was pretty much harmless.

Years went by with us in peaceful coexistence until one day curiosity got the best of him. Yes, him, he wanted to tell me his life story. While going to town one day for bread, he got hit by a semi-truck and died. His family, one aunt, an uncle and some cousins made sure to properly bury him. They were the only people in his life.

Never married, thinking that he had plenty of time, he had settled into a routine of getting up, getting dressed, going to work coming up, getting up the next day and doing the same things over again.

Tediousness had settled upon his shoulders and he hadn’t even known until he got stuck in my attic. How he got stuck there, he didn’t have a clue.

But, we had a few chuckles scaring trick-or-treaters every Halloween.

We lived happily ever after. ;)
