William Blake
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
He who shall hurt the little Wren
Shall never be belov'd by Men.
Let us agree to give up love,
And root up the Infernal Grove;
Then shall we return and see
The worlds of happy Eternity.
My Haiku take on Blake by richard lynn livesay
Shrink perspective down
Be in but not of this world
A grain of sand speaks
Landscape of color
Wildflowers accent God’s canvas
Divine creations
Forever is now
Infinity ongoing
Always in your grasp
Mind will never grasp
Concept of Eternity
Live in it each hour
Cruel acts on nature
To injure a little bird
Others may despise
Shall we give up love?
Dismiss the idealist ways
See Eternity?
