A picture posted on Facebook by a friend of mine prompted this addition to the past WWE prompt. This is an Egyptian goddess.
She stretched her back to relieve its ache. This pregnancy was heavy and near its end, and for that she was thankful. She wondered where the father was now, she hadn't seen him since that night. It hadn't been rape...quite, as her own need had been great, but she wouldn't have chosen... Oh well, it was way too late to change anything. Still, a goddess didn't expect that sort of treatment from a non-immortal.
She stretched again, but the ache didn't ease, instead it intensified and pain struck like a snake. The waiting was at an end.
Hours later, the new mother looked, with great love at her new son. She had expected, from the size of her belly, a whole litter, but there was just this one. He was beautiful. His eyelids fluttered and lifted, as blind turquoise eyes seemed to stare at his mother; his mouth opened, revealing a tiny pink tongue. He was hungry. The mother shifted him closer to her nipple, for his first meal, and eagerly he fastened to it.
The goddess, Bast, purred with happiness and began bathing her son.
“Meow,” the kitten protested as she licked his tiny butt.
