Your challenge for Thursday January 10, 2013 is to create a post about a special person or a hero who also is a member of Gather. Try and keep the focus on Gather members but if there is a special person who is not a Gather member you would like to write about it would be acceptable.

There are so many members that are special to me.

I could never possibly mention two or three.

They comment on my posts and photos always,

It’s the kindness that you can never repay.

Genuine friends on Gather, have I made.

They are kind, gentle and return in spades.

Their humor, wit, their special tidbits,

Glide in my heart making me not wish to quit.

If you were to ask who is genuinely special here,

Far and wide I would announce; it’s all my peers!
