A covering of aerobic infidelity curses sons of guile

Mighty storms destroy the emptiness of the void

Filling full our soft scary bellies with rancorish bile

Incredibly diverse and hidden, we hide in open sight

Crashing like Tsunamis in frozen oceans of blood

Watching our watches age in terrible times of blight

Captured in the shadow of Prometheus, without disguise

We flee with panic, grasping our livers, cursing the eagle

But there is no rest for we must watch the bread rise

Volcanos spew fiery molten sparks against the moons

Harps play weather wars as we shift to magic wishes

Transfixed in locust smoke, we die inside our tunes

Our transparent images blacken; beached and rotted

Dolphins and birds sadly join us in sandy graveyards

But those left must face and be defaced and daunted

An electric serpent stalks, then turns off your lights

The vapor of betrayal moves from the putrid swamps

Carrying disease in South American hamburger types

Still we obey the neo-cons, forging un-natural edicts

A species fallen in the snow, waiting for son’s melting

The sparrow’s eye has morphed into a hoard of ticks

We lost the keys of Enoch and doomed to imprisonment

As other planetary beings continue to wait for our sign

Wits are dimmed, duped by lies sparking resentment

Wealthy suicide factories send out invitations to die

Saying forty-seven percent are a drain on the economy

Then sail off in their yachts in spasms of commercial dye
