Hard to believe 23years ago today' I had a baby boy special in so many ways!

I've been on this emotional "roller coaster" ride trying to understand' why your not here with us? And trying not to cry..

You had such a fun and 'Genuine personality..Full of life and pure "Orneriness" indeed..

You had such "Passion" for the music that you made. The same kind of passion" for the words that you had written..

You were wise far beyond your years! But you loved the challenge' of a good ole dare..

But above all" you showed ~ compassion' love' and respect..Because of all of this' you will always be missed..

This world lost an ~ Awesome ~ Young man' I'm proud to say' I'am' your Mom~ I'am"..

I miss so many things" the Music, Fun, and your Hugs. How can I wish you a "happy birthday" It will never be enough!

I wish you were here to swat your "butt" 23 time's! Just to show you "Mom" still could keep you in ~ line.. Lol..

It has been 2-1/2 years' You will always be in my heart' but I want you near.. Until then my world is insesure..

I'm so sorry, Kay. I know your pain. It's been a little over 6 years since my son Ryan was murdered and there isn't a single day that I don't think about him. Most days it only takes a song, a thought, or a picture to put tears in my eyes. The pain lessens but it will never go away. No one can understand the depth of our sorrow unless they have experienced this kind of loss. Tears are cleansing, so let them flow.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! I would not wish this kind of pain on anyone!! You are absolutely right' if you haven't gone through it you can't understand it! My thoughts and prayers are with you!! Take care of you!!

My condolences to you kay. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your son.

This love letter, and happy birthday message you've written to your son is very therapeutic in many ways...for yourself, as well as those reading your words who can also relate to the loss of their children, or other relatives that were near and dear to them.

God bless you, and I will keep you lifted up on my prayers. Praying that you will be strong in mind, body, spirit and soul ~ and know the depths of ties that never end, and how those love ties can strengthen and touch by way of the divine lines we have with the Holy Spirit of God.

So sorry to read this Kay. I have read some of your other posts and the depth of your emotions are clear. I don't know what your beliefs are but I do belief that, although, he is gone and you don't have him physically with you, that he still see's what you write and knows what you feel. So, yes you can still say happy bithday to him and no, you can't see him hearing but he knows.......
