Soaring Violins, Affectionate Strings and Whimsical Fancies…

Twirling, swirling butter on the surface of tiered Cornish Pasties.

Romanticism and aged, rustic letters of sentiment…

Chipped tea cups and flowered vintage plates…filled to the brim.

Yellowed pages of Hatters Tea Party and English Vintage.

Now my dear ones: We shall mesh the two and see what can become of it.

Love those pasties, and the nutmeg creme tarts sound delicious. Interesting the way you found (created?) the connection. Fun poetry.

I love those pasties and the nutmeg creme tarts as well! They are my weakness! John, the idea came to my mind long ago. I wanted to create a tea-time spread( to photograph) and the thought came from out of no-where to mesh the two. I thought it would be more interesting than a regular 'tea-time'. Alas, the 'photo shoot' never happened. So this little poem came about instead! Thanks for the wonderful comment!
