This Week’s Challenge:
Using prose or poetry, write something brief showing how two things are similar and how they are different. Do not favor either one -- you’re not trying to convince us that one is better than the other -- just compare and contrast the two items.

Paper or Plastic
The cashier at the grocery store hated having to wait on two particular sisters, Missy and Kitty. Dutifully she asked, "Paper or plastic?"
"Paper."
"No plastic."
This was like a game for those sisters and the cashier just wanted them to have their own carts, but they had to share. They shared in everything, the groceries, bills, everything with exception to the grocery bags.
"Missy, you know paper holds more and it's stronger."
"Kitty, if the handles didn't always tear off, I'd agree with you, but plastic is safer."
"No it's not. Paper decomposes."
"Who cares? Our little bit of plastic won't make a difference on the environment."
This time the cashier was prepared because she had put up with the same argument every time Missy and Kitty checked out. "Girls, paper or plastic bags both carry things. Both are useful, but I'm tired of you two holding up the line with this silly argument." She promply put the sisters' items in cotton tote bags and pushed them out the door.
Note to reader: The tote bags had writing on them which said, 'If you fail to use this tote bag at all times in the future, the cashier will hit you both with a very large zucchinni'.

I'll pass on trying to make something unless it includes PVC and duct tape.
