According to society, I am a nobody.
I have no place to lay my head on at night.
I only have these clothes that are on my back.
Don't know when or what my next meal will be.
People look at me in shame and turn their heads away
when they see me walking down the street.
No one wanted to give me a chance in life.
Sometimes I want to end it all
but something deep inside of me
won't let me.
There is still a flicker of hope in me
that is why I still cling on to life.
Because tomorrow might be brighter
and just maybe tomorrow;
someone will come to my rescue
to give me that chance in life.
Maybe tomorrow? (Smile !)
Hold on because tomorrow may bring hope.
