A libertine's inadvertent volition.
Assumed insolence unrestrained;
Equanimity hitherto incarcerated, liberated -
Tidings of insouciant magpies, stirred.
Instantaneously, a tornado of grotesque, skewed emotions,
Destroys, drowns, overwhelms those flushing meadows -
Bosoms riddled with rapiers of abrasive words,
Relationships cudgeled to the marrow.
The recession is as prompt as the onslaught -
Eclipse's in effect no more, elementary sentience prevails
And the melodic music of the soul is restored.
Though the truculence precipiates and anguish wanes,
the destruction lingers and reigns as remorse.

Thank you very much for your words of appreciation, Brian! This is my very humble effort to portray a strangely weird state of mind.
