There was this slave see
who wanted to be free.
"Makes no sense to me.
No way it gonna be."
Â
It was then that IÂ got me
the power and money
insulated from reality
civilization kablooey
blues.
Â
There was this monarch see
had war down pat, he.
Nice columns a men orderly
into Maxim machine gun gunnery
Â
It was then that IÂ got me
the power and money
insulated from reality
civilization kablooey
blues.
Â
Them Jews done this, see
and take we no responsibility,
and act two will be done differently
without Jews nor homosexuality.
Â
It was then that IÂ got me
the power and money
insulated from reality
civilization kablooey
blues.
Â
Then, them Jews done this, see,
them Yanks, their "democracy".
I'm goin' to the belly of the beast directly
and learn to fly but not land correctly.
Â
It was then that IÂ got me
the power and money
insulated from reality
civilization kablooey
blues.
Â
Un-Christians done this, see.
Goin' to war directly.
Know how to do we;
why it's merely act three.
Â
Then IÂ got me
the power and the money
insulated from reality
civilization kablooey
blues.
Â
Oil companies are people too, see,
nice people who provide energy
and all for some worthless people friendly
world of somebody else not me.

It was then that IÂ got me
the power and money

Â
Now talk about glass empty,
Mr., you got the blues badly.
You sure put it sadly
if not a tad madly.
Â
Don't get me wrongly;
people come through surprisingly
and I do clearly see
hopeful signs within humanity.
Â
And we might get to see
power and money
used creatively
to rescue humanity
blues sung joyfully

Therefore and in view of this reality, no one can insulate power and money from the system itself, because without power and money there is simply no system.
The civilization itself cannot "kablooey" itself and our representatives should, in order to avoid a complete and dangerous gap between rich people and all others, investigate, learn, analyze any problem and then suggest solutions sticking to reality.
You stated that you support oil industry - by the way we all depend on it, so in a way or another we support such an industry - but this industry is making more profits than any other and still enjoy receiving 4 billions subsides from taxpayer. And what about burning such so important material, when chemistry can use it in a much cleaner and effective way?
We do need alternate energies even if they can impact (partially) the "oil to be burned industry". In the meantime it seems that some links exist with several other industries suggesting a type of illegal "monopoly".
This why I asked you the question: I wanted to be sure you investigated the links the oil industry has with the other industries as chemical ones and even with main banks, in order to help us avoiding to face a real hidden monopoly within our economy. A monopoly which enslaves us.
We all need every available energy to stay alive, work, rest and even achieve choices, when enjoying some surplus. Even if a surplus can be harmful as biology shows us: most of unused energy is being converted into greases, a useless "over-weight" system.
You keep mentioning about Jews, homosexuality, as if they would be the problems roots - it seems to me. This why I feel you are already scapegoating ...

Perhaps I erred in leaving out Communism, but that was oversight, not deliberate. Communism has provided a rich source of examples of power and authority insulated from reality civilization kablooey bues.
And it feels like a free man to sing them.
Course, you know what it's lacking.
You. There's nothing in this world that falls flatter than a cause song sung solo. Peter Seeger taught me that. Vicariously.

I followed Stirling over to your site. Glad I did....always happy to find talent.
Course, what it needs is a guitar god such as yourself.
Or, you could sign up with Indaba Music - there're two options for membership, one's free and one has a fee - what's the difference in capability? - I don't know. And then you could post your re-mixed version to my Indaba project.
That's way beyond my interest (and talent) level. It was all I could do to record and upload my novel so people could listen to it. :-)
