a scientist working in his lab
discarding metaphors as facts
working on his reason
without any vanity of faith.
found missing, extinct life
talking to protons, neutrons
an analyst in search
'what' created the world
ignoring 'who' created the world.
Yesterday in a small crowd
at temple, behind an old tree
I heard his loud whisper
Almighty, give me some solution.

Buzzy, I'm happy to feature this at Triple Name Club.
Now featured at The Surreal Circus.
(No, I don't call myself an atheist.)
whole night I kept thinking what to answer for your questions and I found myself missing:) seems now I got the backbone of this poem.much thanks.Thanksgiving prayers can be performed by any athiest, too.
This is a touching and beautiful poem that reaches into my own beliefs. Perhaps your father is like me, I am a, "Just in Case Jew." When the need arises, I pray, just in case.
And take this vantage ........ GOD IS GREAT AND IS LOVE
THANK YOU SO !!!
