I'll disagree with Phillip this time. Whether I agree with any of those particular religions/philosophies, the work of constructing those Haikus was excellent.

appreciated, Len...I am not a "religious" person. I only gathered information on them, then condensed to Haiku as a representation. I was at first going to present this to Writing Essentials for your prompt but there was not original writing to show...thanks, Len

Like Len I was taking in the constucted haiku. And I have to say they are well done. Plus I learned a little of each philosphy in a brilliant minimalist fashion. Do you mind if I share these with a friend? I always think it polite to ask before I go barging of doing something.

Quite a sobering ending. I prefer Buddhism with its absence of sin. Now featured at Examining Our Religion.

Concise and informative. Brevity does much for religious issues.

I also note, Richard, that I've been told by maybe James C. or Atticus that Eastern poetry/haiku/Japanes poetry (?) one of them does not use titles to their work. Just a thought...

Thought that I better identify the religions as was difficult to condense a whole religion 5-7-5. It is more for brief information and not conforming to form but will be under advisement for form

I understand your intent in using the titles. I think it could be fun to play around with condensing to eliminate title without shortchanging meaning or message. That would be quite a worthy feat!
