A pretty girl, a park and a police man. mwe

The pretty little mime was standing by the fountain doing her routine. Climbing walls and playing tricks while people dropped money into her coffee can.

It got quiet and then along came a police man on patrol. Time to have some fun with this one she thought. She started juggling invisible balls in the air appearing to catch the odd one in her mouth. The police officer stopped to watch her act for a minute and then walked off on his patrol. The mime stopped doing her act and started to follow him around the fountain.

The officer sensed motion behind him and looked around to see the mime posed in a tableau. He waved and continued on his tour of the park. Soon again the cute little actress was behind him and grabbed his hat then stepped onto the ledge of the fountain and held the patrol mans hat over the pool. He got up on the ledge with her and reached for the hat. However in doing so he lost his balance and fell in with a loud splash. The mime made belly laugh motions, tossed the hat into the pond and took off across the park.

A cute story but I wouldn't recommend playing such a trick on someone that is carrying a gun.

Since the challenge was based on the following comment by Charlie Chaplin, "All I need to make comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl.", I give this VERY HIGH points.

Very Chaplinesque (if there is such a word).
