Amanda Harrington is an FBI Inspector going to THE ACADEMY for training to become a Special agent. She dreads what this will bring as she had a bad experience the last time. She has sworn off getting involved with a fellow student and instructors are off limits as well. However her heart and libido are not paying attention to her head and tumbles into a clandestine affair with Jake her Physical Training instructor who had it bad for her last time. She suffers bumps and bruises through the training and has to fight off an amorous local at a pub. After an altercation with the local during training Amanda loses her confidence but with the help of Jake and her fellow students, she gets her groove back.
This is a nicely woven romance and an all-around good story. The characters of Amanda, Jake and her academy friends are well rounded and likeable and the story is packed with action, and a good steamy romance never hurt anyone. I give this story five special agent badges and recommend this to those who are suckers for a happy ending.
