She calls it her hobby, "playing in the mud"
Using the four ancient elements of earth, water, air, and fire
Tossing the earth upon a potter's wheel
That spins like a galaxy while she adds water, her hands shaping a nothingness into
Something.
Like a Goddess of creation a bowl emerges
Placed carefully on a drying shelf
Air dried slowly and ready for the fire.
Her tuxedo cat Oreo intently watches on as she
Kneads more clay like a loaf of bread before her
She even wears an apron too
Her strong arms and hands are accustomed to each slab of clay
Wondering what else to make today
Before a new star is born
In her studio garage universe.
