Thanks Darin -- Yes, what this (and Life for that matter) is really about is One's having to start from a "Right Premise Within for Right Action and Results to Express Without."

[Rich Note: In the case of Mankind (seen from either a Quantum or Particular Perspective), that translates into "A Simple Matter of First Knowing What I Am in Spirit and Truth" (from the Top-Down as the Awareness or Self-Knowledge of the Absolute), in order to Manifest that Self-Same Perfect Principle in Practice (from the Bottom-Up as a Full Expression of the INEFFABLE ISNESS of That Absolute Godhead Bodily).

2012-Wise, that means, as Bill Samuel so simply and clearly put it: "The final discipline involves the correct apprehension of IDENTITY and passing that clear perception along to our world as quickly as we can." Bill Samuel]

As I surmised from your book title, Vaughan, “One Life-Love, Energy On Universal Creation,” we are in essential agreement with respect to the Essential Nature and Substance of Being, Existence, Conscious Aliveness, Awareness, Nature, God and/or Reality (and the Alpha-Omega thereof).

With regard to the thumbnail description provided on your purchase page and the specifics of “The Human Condition” as it relates to the "Divine Passion Play of Good vs. Evil, Shadow vs. Light, Self-Knowledge vs. Self-Ignorance" -- and the "presumed reality of separate self-sense" necessary for its apparent existence -- I’ll defer to the following Bill Samuel sequenced dialogue entitled "The Human Experience" (from page 70 of "the Child Within Us Lives"):

THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE (page 70, from "The Child Within Us Lives.')

(1) A recent conversation at Woodsong follows:

"The human experience is essentially the awareness of people, places and things—specifically, our own. Experience is here and now. In the most absolute sense, our present experience is God's Self-awareness, God's Self-witness, Self-acknowledgment, Self-appraisal, Self-utilization and Self-enjoyment. It seems to be “ours,” but it belongs to God..."

(2) "Overspreading this Self-perception is God's knowledge of the contraries—what God is not, making what God is, fully understood. To whom? To God's perfect Self-Image, the Child we are.

"As we get this straight and begin to see the subjective idea—“I am perceiving/perception happening; I am Awareness itself, perceiving naught but my own perceptions”—the correct identification become more and more the basis for our thoughts and actions. At this point our experience begins to undergo greater changes..."

Thank you as well, Sir, for the opportunity to resurrect a "Classic Essay" -- the "Absolute Truth in a Relative Nutshell," as It were -- by Bill Samuel that gets as close to "The Truth of Being" as any worlds I've ever read (one that Sandy Jones and I will use as a focal point for our next chat; and I will now share to its conclusion).

(3) “But, Sam, this is the whole question. How do we go about making the proper identification become the basis for thought and action?”

"Good question. How do we do this? By the conscious acknowledgment (knowledge acted on) that the Ineffable, the Supernal One, Isness, Reality, Godhead, is the only possible Identity that actually exists and is, therefore, being this Awareness-I-am here and now. Hanging onto this realization, we slowly let go the old sense of self. Who is the old one who says MY mind? We let that one go “line upon line” and the greater Identity confirms Itself “precept upon precept, here a little, there a little...”

(4) "This is the first step toward the “rebirth” spoken of by those who know what they're talking about. When the Child within (The God Identity) is really acknowledged, It comes alive. We feel it. With this Child, that we actually feel within, comes a simultaneous refutation of the old bastard's view of things—and, blessedly, a natural forsaking of them. We also let go the thoughts and actions that supported the “old man's” position. Suspicion, doubt, judgment of the motives of “others” and many forms of judgmentalism simply vanish."

(5) “Would you say this experience is essentially God's experience rather than mine?”

"In reality, of course—and not just essentially, but totally. But at the same time, the world experience is the time we are still saying, “ This is my experience and that is yours.” It is also the time we're saying “This is good” and “That is bad.” From the peak of the mountain—Identity discovered and proven—things under our feet are, for the most part, understood. At this high place, one looks in retrospect to see without doubt that nothing but God has ever gone on. We understand without equivocation that the world experience is our own step by step, line upon line discovery and confirmation of that fact of God's allness."

(6) "Yet the Child within us (which is the Christ of us!) allows us to suspect this a long time before we're atop the mountain in conscious fact. Inwardly we're claiming that no Identity exists but God, and doing this, sometimes, against great odds; outwardly, we're slowly beginning to live judgelessly and to see good, God, in everything. Do you see?"

“Hey, I'm starting to understand! Yes, yes!”

Yes, Ann, and I do tend to "massage" those that work as affirmations so they can be synced with the breath -- starting with an in-breath on the first word , alternating the breath with ever other word, and ending with the last word on an out-breath -- as part of the creative process. Although in cases where a non-synched piece is better, I stick with the better one.  

In the case of "I Am Affirmation and/or Declaration" related haiku (Hay-Ku for the Purests), Ann, I also prefer to "string the words" such that the "I" falls on the in-breath and the "Am" on the out-breath (which, in and of Itself, is a sweet and simple, though very powerful mantra Robert Adams recommended).

An Original Favorite (a top 5 all-timer) which puts It All Together would be:

"Being Here and Now
Still and Silent as I Am
One with the Father."

"CC6" below falls in the same catagory, Ann, even though the "I Am Declaration and/or Affirmation"is only implicite.

The beauty of it absence, however, allows a rather unique "double entendre" with respect to whether what is said applies to the speaker or the one being addressed.

[Rich Note: The fact that the "middle (seven syllable) line" of both CC6 & 7 can be removed, with the 1st and 3rd lines continuing to make linguistic sense (and still Absolutely True) is also "Way Cool" when it "Happens of Itself," as in this case; but is a definitely a "bridge to far" (one too many conceptual variables to add to the intellectual stew) to seek on a routine basis as a desirable quality).]

[Rich Note: Although CC8 meets neither the "I" on the In breath and "Am" on the out breath criteria," nor the last word ending on an out breath preference, because it is an "I Am declaration, expresses a Grateful Heart and Brings the Child (Re: Christ in You) back into the Conceptual Picture, It still "Feels Too Good" not to share.

And that, perhaps, because It involves a Beautiful Implicit "Reunion (Re: the "Mother and Child Reunion" of that old 60s song refrain, maybe) Head and Heart" (Re: a Sacred Union of Awareness and Sensory Presence giving birth to the Child Heart I Am, as "Aware Sensory Presence or Conscious Aliveness, as Its Divine Offspring"; which, in-turn, has an Archetypically Significant "Heartfelt WOW/Aha-Factor" about It.

Cross-Correlator: Being the Conscious Aliveness of the Father as This Awareness.

CC2: We Are All Being the Radiant Presence of Conscious Aliveness.

CC3: Humanity is Conscious Aliveness Being Aware of Itself.

CC4: Our Aliveness is the Radiant Presence of Conscious Awareness.

Phenomena appear as others, mountains, ourselves, pleasure and pain, but as what we really are, we are not. That is, no objectified thing. We can only know ourselves as transient phenomenal appearance. The universe is I, but I am not. Anyone can say it at any time. This is forever present. It is not necessary to evolve to it, nor is that even possible.

This is easy to say. It is written over and over again by literally scores of writers and teachers.

I call it the unidentified state which is immediately misleading terminology because it is not a state as any sort of 'thing' like being happy or sad or peace, bliss, etc. It is just an is-ness without shape, boundary or quality. In perceiving this, there is a lifting of a great burden, the absence of responsibility of being an autonomous person which is a relief that some may describe as bliss, but it is not bliss. It is something simultaneously more and/or less than that.

I think we can awaken to our unidentified true nature, to recognize it, and still function much of the time as 'someone' doing things. I am Roger typing on this computer, that is, when it is required to be aware of that. There is a personality and egoic responses to stimuli. Other times this body, this life, is being lived and no one is doing it. We all slip into this. We forget ourselves for a while and the dishwashing, the typing, the living goes on automatically without the self-sense until we think about it.
