No one wants to drive or travel through a rain or a snow storm. I know I don't. My ideal weather situation is a bright sunny day with moderate temperatures that allow us to blast down the highway with the windows down. If it's too hot we turn on the A/C and sip on cool stuff.
Winter driving is cool as long as it's not slippery and the sun is shining on the snow.
If it happens to start raining you can always pull off and grab a coffee and wait it out. You may not be on the road but there are memories to be made even in a coffee shop as you sit and count the time between each thunder clap and lightening bolt.
I want to take the time to warn about the necessity for emergency supplies candles flares and blankets etc. It would be wise to have spare dry clothes even if it's only a day trip. You don't want to get caught short in wet pants. Drive safe and enjoy the ride.
