City Workers vs Me On a Bike WWE 5/2012 Cars, Trucks etc

I'm outraged at the police and city workers in the town I live in! City workers have stooped to a new low today!

I was riding my bike to church so I could practice on the piano and am riding along with less than a foot of space between me and some parked cars when a city truck pulls up alongside me and starts trying to crowd me over even farther than I already was! I ended up getting lucky and finding an alley to turn into quickly and did a turn around and went riding as fast as I could go the 4 blocks to City Hall to complain about the idiots driving a city truck ( I memorized the license plate just in case I needed it) trying to cause me to crash into parked cars when I pretty much had nowhere to go, if I slowed down the truck did also.

I was told by the dumb bunny in the city hall office that oh no that's not possible, our city workers would never do something like that, you must have mistaken the truck for a civilian truck. I said no I didn't make a mistake, I gave the woman the license plate number and she still denied that anybody working for the city would purposely run someone off the road, I said ma'am if I get injured because I'm simply minding my own business riding my bike to get across town so I can run errands and practice the piano there will be a lawsuit against the city and everybody who works for it, police included for deliberately causing me to crash while riding a bike.

The woman said honey, you need to go eat a spoonful of sugar cause you have a bad temper and should know better than to try and get innocent people in trouble for something they wouldn't do.

I left madder than a hornet!

About 45 minutes later I was heading home from practicing piano and low and behold here's those nit wit jerks in the red city truck again following me! I don't like to be followed like that, it's a little scary. I slowed down for a stop sign and since there wasn't any traffic coming from the directions that didn't have stop signs I went on ahead riding as fast as I could, till I get to the 3rd stop sign and had to wait on traffic coming from the right before I could turn left to head home. The jerks got impatient and were laughing it up having a blast yelling profanities and threats at me while they inched closer until they decided to hit the back of my bike(it's actually my brother's since mine's getting some repairs done he's being nice and sharing) which because I had a tight hold on the brakes I didn't move much but they did it 5 other times which because I had my left foot on the ground while I was waiting for traffic to clear so I could go, my foot and ankle muscles got a little overstretched and are hurting.

I hurried and turned right while I could and doubled back to City Hall again. The same woman didn't care that I was limping and only putting about half my weight on my left leg or that city workers were terrorizing me and caused an injury to my left leg which isn't good because it doesn't take much to sprain it and pull muscles in it. She said I should just go home and quit bothering the city workers. I wasn't bothering them!!!! They were coming up behind me and running their stupid truck into the back of the bike I was on!!!

I went home all out of breath and told my parents and my brother what happened while I hurried to get some warm water in the tub so I could soak my ankle( can't use anything cold on it because of the metal plate and screws).

Mom, Dad and my brother are furious!!! My brother would like to hunt down the city workers that did this to me and kick some idiot jerk butts!!!!

My ankle's not hurting as much now, I had a splint at home that I use whenever I sprain my ankle bad and put it on. Dad drove me to city hall, I got out on my crutches and went in and filed a complaint against the truck drivers. The lady I dealt with this afternoon was so much nicer and seemed to care that I'd been hurt. She said she had an idea of who it was driving this morning based on the time it happened and if my ankle wasn't any better by Friday go get it checked out and bring the bill to the office because what happened shouldn't have and they don't want any hard feelings towards city workers.

What she didn't say was that the Mayor is up for re-election and wants to keep everything seeming like it's just a nice peaceful little town.

I said they really need to put bike lanes all around town to make it safe for people on bikes to ride. She said if she had anything to say about it they'd put bike lanes all over town but since the mayor isn't a bike loving kind of person and very seldom rides his bike it'll take awhile to get done.

I said that was a shame because lots of people in town ride bikes including many families with small children and it's illegal to ride on sidewalks which forces people who don't want to risk trouble to ride on the street and have to deal with motor vehicle drivers who don't want to share the road with bicyclists.
