'Ello, peeps!
Two ideas for you requiring your skills of alternate-reality creation!
1) Finish this line (in either poetry or prose)--
April showers bring May flowers, and _______________________
--OR--
2) Finish this line (poetry or prose)--
Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, eating ___________________
GO! (Oh, and the blue words are NOT part of your 100.)
Your story may be serious or lighthearted or as silly as you like so long as it is 100 or fewer words.
Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating
Liver, eggs and muffins.
Call her crazy, call her lame.
Miss Muffet has great mental insurance.
Over in the corner, the spider crawled,
Up that water spout, he was sadly a
Big time wash out.
And, that little cow, he jumped for the moon,
Only for him to come crashing down hard
Upon the rusty, warn out spoon.
Little Bo Peep, couldn’t keep her trap shut,
So, the boy who cried wolf, grabbed a staff,
And shut her pie whole for good.
Lesson is: Never trust nursery rhyme characters.
(97 words, minus 8 of the words not included in the prompt, which makes 89 words)
