Storm, for Friday Writing Essentials

Warm inside, safe inside—there’s something magic in watching the lightning draw near while thunder devours. Hush little one. It’s safe and warm back here.

 

Remembering watching storms from our window as they blew around the Great Salt Lake. The little one was a slightly hyper standard poodle. The kids weren't worried at all.

Most dogs are scared of thunder storms. I'm glad you are keeping him safe and sound (and dry).

We are so excited...this is only the second storm since we arrived in Western Australia Feb. 17th. We need a good rain soaking so bad.

So perfect. Whenever we had a thunder storm, both my dogs would squeeze themselves into the space under my desk.

I used to love to watch storms as they approached. The sky was wonderous and exciting. Now I am scared to death of storms.

I need to remember your words when the next strom hits. "It is warm and safe inside"
