I cooked the steaks so badly

My son despaired and sadly

Chose vegetarian.

I join him very gladly

Except when someone else is cooking steaks.

I don't know how you could cook a steak badly: cook it until the outside looks like charcoal and there's not a single fleck of pink inside.
