So much is unknown about the era, but then it was clouded over because of WWII. Would be interesting to find out what was really going on in the 1920's, my dad was born in 1921, but he was a share croppers son, so no glamor in that family, just lots o chickens etc.

Mariana, he was so secretive, all we ever heard about was that while a lot of people had so little, he found himself lucky because grandpa & ma had chickens and a veggie garden, they had food to eat. Other than that he never told us much, then he told us about joining the Army to fight in WWII. I wish I knew more too.
