La Flamme – A Fibonacci Poem in French for Mindful Poetry – Non Challenge

 

 

Seeing Susan’s Fibonnaci poem in French, I couldn’t resist writing one in French as well.

Unfortunately, I haven’t yet learnt how to convert to the French script on my computer.

M’aime

Je pense

Je le sens

Pourquoi il se tait?

Il est peut-etre trop timide

Ou bien il a peur de la flame qui brule dans son coeur

Here is the sequence of numbers. 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34...

Follow these rules:

  1. Today's prompt: use any or all of the elements in word or idea--earth, air, fire, water
  2. Your Fibonacci poem can be as long as you want, but at least five lines of words.
  3. Publish so that the date stamped is April 23rd with only one stamp-date
  4. Tag with MP2012
  5. Publish to Mindful Poetry (and other groups as you wish)

Thank you, Susan. You've inspired me to write in French. Actually, the very first poem I wrote was in French, just a few couplets to accompany my drawings. I was twenty and never wrote any poetry until much much later in life. I'm enjoying this contest very much. Thank you, Susan. Merci mille fois.

Non parlei, de franscaise madam - ik spreek wel nederlands oftewel engels - Roughly translated..says; I don't understand French but sounds very nice..though I do speak Dutch and English :-) A jolly good effort nonetheless :-))

I liked the translation & the poet's corrections as well[pointing to a subtlety the artist had in mind]; reminded me of the difficulty those 'boys' subjected to a classical education MUST have had with LATIN

My brain's cluttered with computer issues. It just won't let me learn more than what I've had to learn. I think it's sweet that you push me. I've even wrote a poem in that direction, but a later time.
