Cholesterol

The orange atom is oxygen. The dark purple atoms are carbons. The white atoms are hydrogens. This is a bad fat. Some cholesterol is needed to make other molecules, but the usual situation is that you have too much cholesterol
unless you are a bady. Babies do not have atherosclerosis yet.
Stroke
Too much cholesterol can cause a stroke, which is a blood clot in the brain.

Animals and animal products contain cholesterol. Plants and plant products do not.
