Yet another fun post. I cannot dance. I have even had two choreographers give up on me after unsuccessfully trying to teach me.I do appreciate dance however.

dance is a state of mind, the unhinging of self-consciousness...letting go and trusting the music to move you..and not giving a ---- who's watching.
another form of expression...but I had some friends growing up that their parents saw it as "the work of the devil" and their religion forbid it

I absolutely agree. I can't sing either, but I will sing to any catchy lyrics/tunes with headphones on. SUCH FUN!!

dancing is, indeed, a state of mind.....it takes you to an entirely new realm and state of mind.......

i love to dance, esp. to anything with a very pronounced drumbeat, where you can really physically feel the vibrations from the drumm...

I agree, it takes the body and mind to "another world" or most the time frees us from any problems we have if only temporarily...gives us a state of freedom...and yes,I think genetically we identify with the ancient drumbeats and the pulse of ourselves and our planet which has raised its vibration from 7.5 Hz to aprox 7.8-8.0 hz

I LOVE that phrase 'the sound of silence', first came across it in Emily Dickinson's Poetry. Silence is gold?

and so the saying; silence is golden...giving us better access to our inner being...but the hardest thing to do is silence our inner dialogue...our minds tend to chatter constantly

ha, good poem. was once involved in a spiritual center where we danced...many times like Sufi whirling...mezmerizing...and then again use to love Country Western 2-step,,,and when young took ballroom dancing
...so dance with the stars

life's a dance, you learn as you go...sometime you give, sometime you borrow...I use to love to 2-step to the flight of the bumblebee...
Linda's & my song was Anne Murray's "Can I have this dance....for the rest of my life...we met at a c & w bar back in 1980

This is my personal favorite of the P3-57 form. I never would have found a rhythm there.
