A unique dining experience for those who are feeling game. I recently had the opportunity to experience game meat served at it's finest. The location is THE MOOSE BURGER EMPORIUM. Situated in Toronto's west end in 2006 and featured in the novel OVER HER DEAD BODY.

Any one who loves an alternative dining experience will appreciate quality Moose chops, buffalo steaks and the Mooffalo burger.  The Mooffalo burger is a blend of Grade A moose and buffalo meats grilled to perfection on a fresh onion bun with asiago cheese and shitake mushrooms and the usual fresh toppings. Each burger is six ounces.  it is a fantastic casual dining experience and boasts regular grade A Angus burgers for less adventurous palates. The burgers are served with fries and a choice of salads. Also featured on the menu are emu wings and burgers as well as an assortment of soups and starters.

If the food isn't enough of an experience, the decor will really put you in the mood. The walls are adorned with moose, elk and bear heads. Booths and large table settings are also available. The restaurant boasts a private party  and meeting room called the Kangaroo Court. Prices range from $10.95 for burgers and $15.99 and up for steaks and chop platters.  I would definitely visit again and encourage any one to give this unique restaurant a try.  I saw a few local celebrities visiting at the same time so the game meet revolution is afoot.  I give this establishment 5 moose racks.
