This time of year

Cabin fever really sets in.

But today, standing on the balcony

The ever-advancing sun

Acyually warmed my face.

Stood there for an hour.

Just "Sittin' on the dock of the bay,

Watchin' the tide roll away."

No call of the Canada geese

coming back yet.

No chirp of the robin

Who I am always the last to see.

I don't spend enough time

Wastin' time.

Never knew a man

Who regretted not workin' enough.

Breathe. Enjoy.

Relax. Observe.

Yes, the sun warms my face.

Precious.....

It's been a weird, warm winter here, George. You have the Japanese Current. Maybe we just have global warming. That sun just felt SO good on my face, though. BTW, bon voyage to you & Helen on the 13th!

The proper spelling is "Uffda." It's like "Aloha" Could mean anything, from hello, goodbye or whatever.The little shithead got into the Super Bowl wastebasket chicken bones. Garbage all over the floor. Expletives deleted. She hid behind the couch for an hour. All is forgiven. She's under my feet again.

I think that it hit 46 - Heat wave! Prob cooler than down there in SE. The melancholy ended when Pattibeagle got into the wastebasket with leftover Super Bowl chicken bones. She hid behind the couch for an hour. Been apoloizing to her ever since. She has an excuse. Do we? Well she's back under my feet again, anyway.....
