Benefits of joining and participating in the Gather Writing Essential group:
It is a great group to share your writing skills with others
It is a great place to receive constructive criticism
It is a great place to read others work
The members of the group support each others work
It is a great place to increase your writing skills by going outside your comfort zone when you are comfortable doing so
This group has writers from all walks of life from homemakers to published authors. Each author has their own skills and style of writing.
You have one week to complete the prompt. For example the Monday prompt will be due by the following Sunday night and so forth. However, your submissions are always excepted even when they are posted after the deadline. So don't worry if you are late, just post it.
You can read a short bio about each and every editor on the Gather Writing Essential group homepage.
