deep within the temple are troubled rumblings

lotus-wisdom seeks the floating froth of youth

as transient reflections of fiery clouds question reality

calling for reconstruction, dissecting and dismantling

and soon the cold, naked lizards will crawl in shame

death descends, eviscerating systems of exchange

sucked dry by mindless steel-etched portraits on high

while we cry in the coals of homelessness as wretched beggars

rolling in bleakness as unsweetened sounds of siphoned cries

draw attention to poisoned seeds covered, hiding in silence

disenchanting readers slipping into desolate swamps of doom

don’t cry for us but climb we must to see

a ravished, banished maddened Kingdom

cracked of hope below the slope from sea to sea

believe you must but bring your justice free

to serve no fear, your weapon protesting loud and clear

we have seen the terror and it is you, leaders of blasphemy

you have fooled some of the people most of the time, now

it is the time of reckoning and you will be exposed and judged

voting is a fraudulent  trinket manipulated in conspiracy

ye may say, “me thinks ye protest  too much” but

                                          “ I have just begun to fight”
