“TIME “ – WEDNESDAY GATHER WRITING ESSENTIAL: 8.24.11

As human beings, our time here on Earth is oh, so limited.  And we focus on it constantly:

• ·         It’s time to………………………………..
• ·          
• ·        
• ·         It’s past time
• ·        
• ·         If I had the time
• ·         On time
• ·         Time frame
• ·         This time
• ·         Next time
• ·         Last time
• ·         Overtime
• ·         In the nick of time
• ·         Do you have the time?
• ·         Make time (which really cannot be done).
• ·         Once upon a time
• ·         Doing time
• ·         Don’t waste your…………….

Time is our most precious commodity; yet we can’t buy it, nor sell it.

• ·         “Buying time” and
• ·         “Saving time”

 are impossible tasks.

There’s “Time in a bottle”, “Time for a change”, “Time for dinner”, “Time to get up”, “Time for bed” And “Taking your Time”

Then we decide how to “Spend “our time.

Do we fritter it away on senseless actions? Do we burden ourselves with years of hard work? 

We change our clocks in spring and fall to give ourselves the illusion of either extending or confining our time. How much time do we linger on gather? 

We must teach ourselves to utilize our time loving and helping one another; sharing our precious time with our children, our parents, and our friends. We come here with so little time.  SHARE IT!  Because, Lord knows, we can’t take it with us.
