I wandered lonely as a cloud

Beyond the hill, beyond the dale

Beyond the lurking town and found

Of daffodils a dream, a host

But most of all found you.

 

I wandered lonely, sad it seemed

My fate to ever only seek

Dark-clouded gray-clad winter ghosts

Then I found you.

I like it. The meter break in the last line of each stanza works well and makes this read like lyrics.

Sandre,

Most of the beauty I have found has come to me when I was not looking. I keep a journal. I write in it each night and it amazes me what I have done, seen, accomplished and missed in life. These things seem to come to my attention when I write or read recent entries in my journal

Here, on Gather, Connie, someone (I don't remember exactly who it was) challenged us to "be grateful" for one month, changing our status every day to reflect what we were grateful for. I know some found it difficult, but I loved doing it every day because it made me think about all the tiny, miraculous things that happen in my life every single day.
