I'm not sure what "Puente" means in writing or poetry (except that it means bridge in Spanish ;-) so not sure if you pulled it off or not, but I loved it. Very brief yet left me with a very vivid mental image
Bridge is what Puente is formed around accoding to instructios. The first and third stanzas have the same number of lines and must be related in some way while the second stanza is one line that serves as a bridge between the 1st and 3rd.
You did just fine...your poem is indeed a puente! I would either leave out 'all' in the third line or change it to 'any' to make it flow better. Or you could change reading to relishing to make this a patterned repetition...great post!
I appreciate your input Bridget. I agree that any sounds better, but did not care for two relishings in the last stanza. I now have changed it so that there is not a repetition in any stanza.
Oh, I think you nailed it, Sadie. You "bridged" it and everything else to make a "Puente Poem." Very well done! Oh, one thing. (Hey, I can't help it, I am a grammar/punctuation, etc. Police Officer ha ha) add the "s" in snowfall.
