Snow? Yeah, Right! (Monday Writing Essential)

I read Greg’s column with some amusement because I know what he was really saying. He showed these pictures of “snow” through which he had to walk.

Ha! He didn’t know it, but I wasn’t at home over the Christmas weekend -- I was in Almost Iowa. Yep, I had a direct flight because -- THERE IS NO SNOW THERE!

How can I say that? Easy, I sneaked over to Greg’s house and saw him fueling the generator to keep this machine working.

In the future, any time Greg talks about having snow anywhere around him, just keep this picture in mind and you’ll know where the snow came from.

Great Picture. Wish it was only that here in the tundra of New England. Unfortunately, we have the real stuff and the wind chill to go with it.

Ours is real and still deeper than knee deep in spots, yet we're forecast to get a "meltdown" later in the week.
We stayed off season at a ski resort which had those snow making machines all over the place--I lost count.
