Vember followed October year after year;

That December followed Vember was perfectly clear;

But then one year it happened!

The Earth stopped turning and time stood still;

There were no days after October;

No days before the December chill;

What ever happened to Vember?

No one had a clue;

Why didn't it follow October?

No one really knew;

All anyone can really say,

All anyone can remember

Is that time stood still one fateful day

And there simply was

November.
