The Letters To The Womanhood
1
Something tells me
to ask you
how are you.
2
I rewind the time
where your ex
broke your door-
your progenies
became a couple of
spider monkeys;
you, their tree of life.
The shattered glasses appeared.
Footmarks, red on an old carpet.
3
Something asks me to ask
a river about her womanhood.
The river plays around me
takes me toward an ocean
where blue hides all the answers.
4
An enormous red turtle rising,
it will lay it blue eggs on the shore.
A million eggs
for a few
returning to the ocean.
Is it the sunset?
I thought…
5
Shattered glasses
on the shabby carpet
bought with a cozy belief,
at least
the dark red specks
would give it a facelift.
6
I would have never born
if you dared not touch
the fire once more.
7
The psychiatrist said,
we repeat our mistakes.
They are our offspring.
8
How are you?
9
You finally mail me back.
10
You write:

recite the entire poem
as if your life depends upon it.

I love the way you carefully handle the topics that are hurtful in life in a way that only the closest of friend would.
