Hard to make a contest out of one entry. And that's why I've broadened the reach. Some of you can do this far better than I. Let's see you join this group and try this. It's more fun and less work than you think!
This is a Prose or poetry contest. Prose - UP TO 500 words... Poetry UP TO 90 lines. I'm Judge, jury and Prize Awarder! Theme is the BEST spring you have ever had. I thunk it up, so I KNOW it's not THAT hard.
Did you fall in love in the spring? Attend your first baseball game and it snowed (yes... really)? Take a fantastic trip? Learn a joy no one had ever shown you? Discover a lifetime passion?
C'mon, folks... Jennine says that usually we have at least a couple, by now. Are you all bitten with spring fever and too busy to write? Do you suffer from holdover cabin fever? Ha! Gotcha! Writing is the perfect cure for that stuff!
From her first description of the contest: C'mon people, give it a shot!
"Some suggestions are March brings new life, babies, chicks, lambs, calves, kids, It is sometimes known as the Windy month and a month to fly kites, People get Spring Fever and get out to work in gardens and break out the barbecue grill. March can have unpredictable weather some lion like and raging and some mild as a lamb. It has birds returning and flowers spring up. Many school go on Spring break and vacation and it is the time for Easter and Passover. There are all sorts of things to write about. Get out the photo albums to job your memory if you need and if you have a journal use that. But there are also 3 other spring months so whatever you write make it about Spring and a memorable one that is special for all time.
If possible make it a photo essay Spring is a good time to do this.
Be sure there is GCC in your title or NGCC if you can't be a judge for April.
Deadline for all submissions March 31st Noon."

Just haven't had the time.
Between hubby being sick, answering emails, getting kids off to school/homework..
Well, I just haven't been motivated.
Usually, I really love Spring. But, since it's still cold and miserable here, I'm finding that it's not helping my mood.
I have to pass this time.
Too much to do.
Excellent, my dear... EXCELLENT!
*sigh*
(Hey, at least everyone doesn't have to read it as fast as I'd speak when I tell it! XP)
