STILLBORN.

There was a certain irony
In you being on the same

Hospital ward for a day
Recovery from the birth of

Your stillborn baby while
Other women waited for

Their unborn babes to be
Sucked away and one girl

Standing by some window
Looking out at the darkening

Sky turned around and gazed
At you sadly and began to cry.
