They were quite young then ...Had to change that when school started for Cathy my oldest child.
I would take them out by the pool to lie and watch for falling stars though when school wasn't in session
It might be time to teach them how to cook for you, you think? :)
Hugs....
Anywho, lovely poem friend.
Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
This one was really simply written and relayed so well that I could see you in the kitchen with an apron on ~ ahhahah!
Loved it!

Good that you seem to be a 'night owl'.

I couldn't resist Elsie, it's the tune that jumped into my head when I read the snippet you cooked up -- delightfully done m'dear!

My wife arrives in one hour. Then she has to go through customs.
I don't know what happened to me yesterday. I was having very extreme mood swings. I helped a friend of my son's move. He had been living in my son's apartment, but our insurance would not cover him. I felt sick with a scratchy throat and light fever and it was cold outside. He gave me the wrong key, then took of to visit someone. I went ballistic. I almost never swear, but I couldn't help letting my frustration out. I came home and cleaned the inside of our refrigerator, then did laundry and could not calm down. I just start screaming and then started sweating. I ate an orange to calm down. The young man brought the key to my house at 10 p.m. He also gave me a very nice apologetic letter. We talked and I told him I could not understand my mood swings and apologized for this. Then I watched Armageddon of 2012 on the History Channel. I usually have no trouble sleeping, but, although very tired, I could not sleep. I played guitar and around 3:30 a.m. I finally dozed off and slept rather deeply. I woke up at 10 a.m., made coffee, then started coughing. I feel run down and spacey. The house is clean. I wanted to mop and wax the floors, but I feel rather weak. I can't remember ever having mood swings like this before. Maybe this illness I have is causing this. My son is now in Japan to help Kayoko's grandmother and he will studying intensive Japanese at the YMCA in Osaka to hopefully help him enter a Japanese university. He has dual citizenship, so this helps.
Both my laptops are in shop, son messed one up, haven't a clue what happened to the other one, must have been attacked by something
