Traveling through the Eastern United States -MWE- 10/5/2009

Since I was a little girl traveling from Texas to California every summer. I have always wanted to visit every state east in the United States. I have seen twenty five states so far. I do believe, I’d love to and why not. I’m retired and have the time now.

I live in Oklahoma close to my daughter in the summer and spend the winter months in Texas close to my son. I need to make another trip to California before I go to Texas this winter. So your asking; Why can’t you do it first? There really is no reason I can’t, so maybe I will go to California first, at least for a month.

Around LA and Bakersfield! I have a sister that lives out there.
Lucky you! Both we and our son all live in Connecticut, so.... when we visit, it's right here.

I've driven through several states, but only actually visited about ten.

yes it is a lot of traveling...I do love it. You see some great places and meet nice people! I love talking to all ages...one learns a lot from there travels! Oh I forgot to add Canada and Mexico to that list! I love Canada and have been there 5 times!

hahaha thanks Lynn, yes I promise to use bigger sized text next time... and there will be a next time. yes I'm addicted now. I will make notes to visit the Liberty Bell and thank you for the tips! I am lucky to be retired and have plenty of time to stay as long as I like. I have a Holiday Rambler 5th wheel 38ft with 3 slide outs it has everything you need to live in year round. So I am set to go!!! You just push a button and everything moves for you...I like that!

Wow you really are set to go, don't forget the National Park system, there are some great parks that are truly beautiful if you're into that kinda thing.

yes I am...being a artist I like to take photos and paint from my photos at a later time. thanks the National Parks are great for that.
When you stop in Connecticut, give us a call so we can come with you.


Uhhh, Lynn, we got SO lost in Philly, we stayed there because we couldn't figure out how to leave! lol

Wow, that is awesome. I hope to see the world more someday, or at least more than just the east coast, and I've been to Minnesota once. I've been to Canada down to Florida and only as far west as Minnesota, but never to California, I would love to visit California and Hawaii, perhaps Texas.

Amy, thanks I have love traveling, my dad made it so much fun on our trips from state to state. I hope you get to see California and Texas some day. I have never seen Hawaii, and I hear its beautiful from my friends that have been there.
