We've all heard it before about a friend or family member. The other half of that marriage is a dog! This time, it happens to be true. A woman got so fed up with "skirt-chasers and cheaters" she decided to tie the knot with her beloved fur baby. Guess that means dogs are also a woman's best friend...
Seriously, Emily Mabou from Ghana married her dog in a ceremony performed by a priest. The 29 year old said, "For so long I've been praying for a life with a partner who has all the qualities of my dad. My dad was kind, faithful and loyal to my mum, and he never let her down."
Nice to compare a dog to Dad...wonder how mum feels about that? Guess a dog is kind, faithful and loyal. Then again, what about biting and loose bowels? Of course, then there's the inevitable question of spawning and the blushing bride states, "We'll adopt."
Talk about talking to the animals...or this is a message to men all over??

Well, my husband laughed when I told him about this article. He said men have always been accused of being dogs, so maybe this lady has the right idea. He also said it doesn't reflect to kindly on women - we're the ones who know that men are dogs, and yet we stay with them anyway! He's got a point...
