Yes, my editor, Deb Werksman, of Sourcebooks, will be taking 50-word pitches (and, yes, ONLY 50 words) on Thursday, January 29 and will select a winner whose manuscript she will read.
Deb is an ACQUIRING editor, meaning she is looking for stories. What is she looking for? How do you do a pitch in 50 words? How can you get a critique out of this?
All the information is available on our blog. The rules are here:
CasablancaAuthors.blogspot.com
And, while you're out perusing the internet, I have a contest on my website for readers to win one of 3 romantic getaways to correspond with the release of my three light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek, paranormal stories. Stop by JudiFennell.com to check it out!
Good luck on the pitches!
