Indie Authors - For writers (Repost)

Hello everyone.

As authors, we are all trying to accomplish the same things. We write our books and then we try to sell them. But after the writing comes the hard part. The marketing part is the hard part. I have created a private site where authors can network and talk about which strategies work and which ones do not work. At this site, because it is private, we can be free from ad men, promotional reps and everyone else trying to sell their services to authors who are chasing a dream. No one there pimping their book (ironic, isn't it) on every way to market your book, no one offering to evaluate your cover for just $399.00 ... just authors getting together and learning from each other.

You see, in a bookstore the books compete, but I believe that on the Internet, authors can maximize there sales by co-operating to a greater degree as opposed to cometing. So I mean in no way for this to be spam. My author's networking site is free, and not only will I not be trying to sell anything, but I will ban anyone who tries to sell us something.

While there is a place in the forums to promote your books among one another, this site is not really where you come to sell your book. It's where you come to share information on HOW to sell your book and nothing else. Because the site is private, I must send you an invitation for you to join.
