As I walk along the sea coast
Memories come to mind
Of a very cherished childhood
Full of natures gems

Seeing my first rainbow
The forest at twilight
Silvery stars, icing clouds
The sky blue pink of dawn

Building castles in the sand
Picking flowers wild
Seeing a red gold sun appear
At dusk, see it go down

Child within me, for me to show
These colors of the world
And to see your eye-shines forming
Will be my great award

Very nice! While growing up I was not close with my mom and she didn't take the time to show me the "little" things of life, I was blessed with a dad that did! I have done my best to show my children the "little" things and I believe I have succeeded with them!

Lovely images. Those were shared with me by an adoptive "grandmother," and I share many of them with my own son. How much I hope he remembers them later.
