This weeks prompt is the word "squish"
Little brother liked to go wading
In a nearby shallow creek
Mother said "Don't do it"
But sometimes he would sneak
"You'll be sorry" she told him
"If a crab bites your toe"
"And there might be leeches"
Those were things he didn't know
Thinking he was clever
He returned to the scene of the crime
He went back into the water
But left his shoes on this time
He returned home triumphant
Unbitten by crab or toothed fish
But sadly he was busted
When mom heard his little shoes squish
